a seating system made of wood, cushioned by soft textile tubes.
the projects objective was to combine two materials – hard and soft – without compromising the qualities of each.
soft tube cushions are woven into a simple wooden frame, creating a comfortable seat.

the upholstery is fixed where needed, to create a seat, while it keeps loose and a little unpredictable on the fringe.
the wooden frame is sustainable and was crafted in classic carpentry methods, while the textile part is customizable, renewable and could be replaced or mended by improvised solutions.
designed with Hadas Shalem for "Right here, right now" group exhibition.
