time 02.1 ('Fervency') exhibition took place at Hansen house in Jerusalem; a hospital built at 1887 as a treatment center for lepers. twelve designers were asked to create an original work in a short time period.
for this exhibition I created the "Ghost chicken coop" installation which includes 1 rooster and 6 chickens, and wrote a short horror story to accompany it;

'Ghost chicken coop'
Painted steel, pc fan, Tyvek®.
Hansen's house in Jerusalem was once full of life. Patients and nurses have fostered a beautiful garden and possibly even a petting zoo.
That night when Mr. Cohen had crept into Hansen’s house was a typical Jerusalem night. Earlier that day, when he had noticed the painted ceramic tiles during the municipal tour, it occurred to him they would be perfect for the entrance floor of his house.
Cohen descended into the basement. As he walked the long corridors he could hear rustling and rumbling that grew louder. Frightened and disoriented he started to wander off through the stone labyrinth of the Lepers house. Finally he came to a heavy wooden door; he opened it hastily, expecting the cold night breeze to carry a sense of relief, when he suddenly gasped in horror, noticing dozens of small, bright eyes fixed on him, waiting for his next move.
To this day, his fate remains unknown...
