What is a trophy (award, prize) in modern culture? what enables values like respect and pride to be portrayed in an object? what makes an object become a symbol, a storyteller, a container for memory? what is the place where "zechovoy" (popular medals and trophies manufacturer) and ancient Greece meet?
We have invited 30 designers and artists to help us build a visual and symbolic lexicon of prized objects, that was exhibited in a window display facing 'Ha’aliya' st. in Tel Aviv.
